Remarks:
Previously regarded as a synonym of
Hoplodactylus (e.g., Bauer 1994). Revalidated by Nielsen, Bauer, Jackman, Hitchmough & Daugherty (2011), although already Jewell (2008) regarded it as a valid genus. The former authors indicated that the genus may include nine as yet undescribed species.
