Chiropsella bart "Chiropsalmus" Jellyfish Preserved specimen. Not as large as the box jellyfish (Chironex fleckeri), but can give a painful sting. Found on the west side of the Gulf of Carpentaria from about May to July. The photo has been post-processed to remove a disturbing background.
