Contents: 1 living and 1 extinct species, both endemic. In fact, both species may be extinct, since the Critically Endangered lanceolata has not been seen since 1889 (Horrocks & Daltry 2017).
Endemism: 0% 100%
Remarks: This genus includes species or populations formerly assigned to Mabuya. Previously included Marisora berengerae and M. pergravis.
Extinct in: Saint Lucia.
Distribution: Barbados.

Remarks: Previously regarded as a population of Mabuya mabouya (e.g., Peters & Donoso-Barros 1970; Schwartz & Henderson 1988), Spondylurus sloanii (e.g., Mayer & Lazell 2000) or Varzea bistriata (e.g., Malhotra & Thorpe 1999), although regarded as a valid species by Barbour (1914) and Underwood (1963). Validity confirmed by Hedges & Conn (2012). Possibly extinct (Powell & Henderson (eds.) 2012; Horrocks & Daltry 2017).
Distribution: Barbados.

Revalidated by Miralles, Rivas, Bonillo, Schargel, Barros, García-Pérez & Barrio-Amorós (2009) and Hedges & Conn (2012).
Distribution: Saint Lucia.
