Remarks: The species of this genus were previously included in Lioscincus (e.g., Bauer & Sadlier 1993), Leiolopisma (e.g., Böhme 1979; Sadlier 1987), and before that in Lygosoma (e.g., Peters 1869).
Distribution: New Caledonia (Grande Terre, Isle of Pines, Loyalty Islands, Moro Islet).
