Contents: 2 species, both of which are endemic.
Endemism: 0% 100%
Remarks: Previously included the species now assigned to Brachyseps, Flexiseps, and Madascincus. Formerly included in Scelotes. Already Welch (1982) treated Amphiglossus as a valid genus, but without discussion or references.
Distribution: Madagascar.
