Srinivasulu, Srinivasulu, Ganesan & Vijayakumar (2013) showed a locality in Karnataka in their distribution map of the species, however, in their description, the
authors stated that it is known only from the type locality in Kerala.
Moreover, no published record appear to confirm the presence of the species in Karnataka.
