Remarks: Regarded as a synonym of Morelia by Underwood & Stimson (1990), but as a valid genus by most subsequent works (e.g., Kluge 1993; Reynolds, Niemiller & Revell 2014). Previously included Leiopython.
Distribution: As for the single species.
