Contents:
  30 species of which 30 (100.0%) are endemic - 7 genera of which 7 (100.0%) are endemic (as of December 31st, 2018).

Remarks:  The species and genera of this family were previously included in the family Gekkonidae (e.g., Wermuth 1965; Goin, Goin & Zug 1978) or in the family Pygopodidae (e.g., Kluge 1987). Now considered a separate family (e.g., Han, Zhou & Bauer 2004; Oliver & Bauer 2011; Cogger 2014; Vitt & Caldwell 2014).
