Distribution: E. Malay Archipelago, Australia.
Reported from: Australia (Northern Territory, Queensland [incl. Torres Strait Islands], Western Australia), Indonesia (Waigeo, Western New Guinea), Papua New Guinea (d'Entrecasteaux Islands [Fergusson], Eastern New Guinea, Louisiade Archipelago [Rossel]).

Remarks: Previously included arnhemicus. Although the grammatical gender of Glaphyromorphus is masculine, the ending of the specific epithet, crassicauda, should not be changed to "-us", since it is a noun in aposition, not an adjective (see Böhme & Denzer 2019).
