Remarks: Presence in Peru and Venezuela (listed by Franco, Fernandes & Bentim 2007) seems questionable, since these authors did not include any vouchers from either of the countries, nor was any localities plotted in their distribution map. No other publications appear to support the presence of the species in these two countries. Although reported from Surinam (Franco, Fernandes & Bentim 2007), Kuijpers (2024) stated that the species is absent from the country.
