Distribution: Bangladesh, Bhutan, China (Tibet), India (Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland), Myanmar.

Remarks: Previously included the populations now assigned to namdaphaensis and siangensis. Records from Tibet refer to siangensis. Records from Bhutan are tentatively referred to siangensis, but need confirmation (Balan, Das, Boruah, Tillack, Lalronunga & Deepak 2025). Records from Manipur and Nagaland, India, are retained herein as gularis, but their taxonomic status is unclear. Status of older records from Myanmar is also unclear and disregarded herein, as they may represent other species.
Distribution: Bangladesh, India (Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland).
