Remarks:
Regarded as extinct by Zug, Ineich, Pregill & Hamilton (2012) and Allison, Hamilton & Tallowin (2022).
However, Ineich & Böhme (2024) believed that the species is still alive and recommended targeted searches in the last remaining rainforest patches of Eua and the small Kalau Island
located south of Eua.
