Remarks:
Although reported from Guyana (e.g., Reynolds, MacCulloch, Tamessar, Watson, Cole & Townsend 2008; Cole, Townsend, Reynolds, MacCulloch & Lathrop 2013),
the species is apparently absent from the country (Kuijpers 2024).
Although reported also from Colombia by Pérez-Santos & Moreno (1988), presence in the country needs confirmation, according to the strongly critical review of this work by Cadle (1992),
in which he points out the considerable amount of unverifiable information presented by these authors.
Not mentioned from Bolivia by Pincheira-Donoso (2002).
