Contents: 2 species, of which none are endemic.
Endemism: 0% 100%
Remarks: Previously regarded as a synonym of Philodryas (e.g., Thomas 1976). Revalidated by Melo-Sampaio, Passos, Martins, Jennings, Moura-Leite, Morato, Venegas, Chávez, Venâncio & Souza (2020) and Arredondo, Grazziotin, Scrocchi, Rodrigues, Bonatto & Zaher (2020).
Distribution: South America.
Reported from: Bolivia, Brazil (Acre, Amapa, Amazonas, Maranhao, Mato Grosso, Para [incl. Marajo Island], Rondonia, Roraima), Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Surinam, Venezuela.

Remarks: Reported to occur in Paraguay by Costa Prudente, Silva, Rocha & Franco (2008), but no other sources seem to support this. It was not included by Cacciali, Scott, Aquino-Ortiz, Fitzgerald & Smith (2016) in their checklist of Paraguayan reptiles.
Distribution: Bolivia, Brazil (Acre, Amapa, Amazonas, Maranhao, Mato Grosso, Para [incl. Marajo Island], Rondonia, Roraima), Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Surinam, Venezuela.
