Remarks: Kluge (2001) regarded Stenodactylus lumsdenii as a synonym of Bunopus tuberculatus. Some authors regard maynardi as a valid species (e.g., Khan 2006; Masroor 2012). Others regard lumsdenii as a valid species (e.g., Khan 2006).

Remarks: Although this species was reported from Jammu & Kashmir by Sahi & Duda (1985), it was not listed in a subsequent work by the same authors (Sahi & Duda 1996). It is unclear whether the authors intentionally removed the species from the state list in their latter work, but its presence in the state is regarded herein as unverified.
