Remarks: Previously assigned to Coluber (e.g., Schätti & Ineich 2004; Herrmann & Branch 2013) or, more recently, to Platyceps (e.g., Broadley 2012). Wallach, Williams & Boundy (2014) assigned the species to Hemerophis, but without discussion.
