Contents: 2 species, of which 1 (50.0%) is endemic.
Endemism: 0% 100%
Remarks: Previously included the genera Heosemys and Rhinoclemmys. The relationships of Geoemyda and Heosemys has been discussed by Lorenz (1984) and Moll, Groombridge & Vijaya (1987).
Distribution: E. Asia.
Reported from: China (Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Hainan, Hunan, Jiangxi, Yunnan), Japan (Ryukyu Islands: Okinawa Islands), Laos, Vietnam.
