1991 Liochlorophis Oldham & Smith (type species: Coluber vernalis Harlan 1827)
Contents: 1 species, which is not endemic.
Endemism: 0% 100%
Remarks: Previously included in Opheodrys (e.g., Crother, Boundy, Burbrink & Campbell in Crother (ed.) 2008), but there are many morphological and anatomical characters which separate the two genera from each other. Retained herein as a valid genus, following recommendation by Van Wallach (pers. comm., 6th October, 2024).
Distribution: As for the single species.
