Remarks: Although this species is found both to the north and to the south of Bougainville, it has not been recorded from the island (O'Shea 1996). Denisonia furva was listed as a synonym of both Salomonelaps par and Parapistocalamus hedigeri by Wallach, Williams & Boundy (2014).
Distribution: Papua New Guinea (North Solomon Islands [Buka]), Solomon Islands (incl. Guadalcanal).
