Remarks:
Golay, Smith, Broadley, Dixon, McCarthy, Rage, Schätti & Toriba (1993) included Sarawak in the distribution of chaseni, but no other works seemed to support this
(e.g., Stuebing, Inger & Lardner 2014).
However, the species was subsequently recorded from Sarawak by Fukuyama, Fukuyama, Kurita, Kojima, Hossman, Noda & Nishikawa (2021).
