Contents: 8 species, of which 1 (12.5%) is endemic.
Endemism: 0% 100%
Remarks: Previously included Aphaniotis ornata (e.g., Welch, Cooke & Wright 1990), the genus Diploderma, and the species now assigned to Cristidorsa. The nominal genus Oriotiaris was revalidated by Kästle & Schleich (1998), but synonymized again with Japalura by Mahony (2009). Nevertheless, it was still considered valid by Kästle, Rai & Schleich (2013), who apparently overlooked the synonymization, since they did not comment on it.
Distribution: Bhutan, China (Tibet), India (Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Mizoram, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, West Bengal), Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan.

Remarks: Records from Tibet (e.g., Zhao & Adler 1993; Rao 2000; Ananjeva, Guo & Wang 2011) refer to tricarinata (Wang, Jiang, Deepak, Abhijit, Hou, Che & Siler 2018). Hallermann, Ananjeva & Orlov (2001) erroneously reported the species from Uttar Pradesh, but the locality, Molta, is in fact in Uttarakhand.

Remarks: Listed for Tibet by Cai, Ji, Wangs, Rao, Huang, Wang, Song, Guo & Jiang (2021), based on Kunte & Manthey (2009), however, the latter reference reports a specimen from Arunachal Pradesh, India, not from Tibet.
