Contents: 3 species, none of which are endemic.
Remarks: McDowell (1979) synonymized Chersydrus with Acrochordus, an arrangement which has been followed by most subsequent authors, although a few have retained Chersydrus as a valid genus (e.g., Sharma 2004).
Distribution: S. Asia, Malay Archipelago, N. Australia.

Remarks: Only a single record from Pakistan (Khan 1982). Leviton, Siler, Weinell & Brown (2018) did not include Bohol and Marinduque in the distribution of the species.
