Recorded from Paraguay, but without exact localities (e.g., Koslowsky 1898; Bertoni 1914, 1939; Gatti 1955; Talbot 1979).
Nearest known exact locality is in Argentina, about 70 km from the border to Paraguay (Cacciali, Scott, Aquino Ortíz, Fitzgerald & Smith 2016).
