Remarks: Previously included Hemicordylus. Frost, Janies, Mouton & Titus (2001) regarded Pseudocordylus as a synonym of Cordylus, followed by some authors (e.g., Bourquin 2004), but this taxonomical revision has received limited support (Stanley, Bauer, Jackman, Branch & Mouton 2011).
Distribution: Eswatini, Lesotho, South Africa (Eastern Cape, Free State, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Northern Cape, Western Cape).
