Remarks: Although reported to occur in Venezuela (Martins & Oliveira 1993; Almeida, Feitosa, Passos & Prudente 2014), these authors did not refer to any vouchers. Presence in the country appears to need verfication, following both Rivas, Molina, Ugueto, Barros, Barrio-Amorós & Kok (2012) and Mumaw, González & Fernández (2015), who did not include latifrons in their checklists for the country, although the latter authors listed it as possibly occurring. Not included for French Guiana and Surinam by Kuijpers (2024).
