Distribution: Brazil (Alagoas, Bahia, Ceara, Espirito Santo, Goias, Maranhao, Mato Grosso, Minas Gerais, Para, Paraiba, Pernambuco, Piaui, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Norte, Sao Paulo, Sergipe, Tocantins).

Remarks: Previously included amarali and darwinii. Costa & Bérnils (2018) included Goias, Mato Grosso, and Tocantins in the distribution, but presence in these states needs confirmation, as they are outside the range shown in the map by Colli, Fenker, Tedeschi, Bataus, Uhlig, Silveira, Rocha, Nogueira, Werneck, Moura, Winck, Kiefer, Freitas, Ribeiro Junior, Hoogmoed, Tinôco, Valadão, Cardoso Vieira, Perez Maciel, Gomes Faria, Recoder, Ávila, Torquato da Silva, Barcelos Ribeiro & Avila-Pires, T.C.S. (2019). The same is the case for Minas Gerais, mentioned by Feio & Caramaschi (2002).
