Remarks: Regarded as a synonym of Thrasops by some authors (Loveridge 1957; Trape & Roux-Estève 1990; Chippaux 2001; Chirio & LeBreton 2007; Wagner & Böhme 2007; Trape & Baldé 2014), but as a valid genus by others (e.g., Broadley & Wallach 2002; Segniagbeto, Trape, David, Ohler, Dubois & Glitho 2011; Wallach, Williams & Boundy 2014).
Distribution: Equatorial Africa.
