Records from Morelos (e.g., Smith & Laufe 1946; Smith & Taylor 1950; Davis & Smith 1953), are erroneous (Echternacht 1971; Castro-Franco & Bustos-Zagal 1994), however, Lemos-Espinal & Smith (2020) still listed the species for the state.
