Remarks: Previously included coeruleodorsus. Records from Trinidad & Tobago refer to coeruleodorsus, haileyi and stimsoni (Murphy, Charles, Lehtinen & Koeller 2013). Records from Guerrero (e.g., Smith & Taylor 1945; Pérez-Ramos, Riva & Uribe-Peña 2000) refer to diplotropis (Palacios-Aguilar & Flores-Villela 2018). Carreira, Brazeiro, Camargo, Rosa, Canavero & Manyro (2012) listed marginatus as a separate species. Mumaw, González & Fernández (2015) regarded occidentalis as a separate species.
