Remarks: Although reported from Sabah by several authors (e.g., Stuebing 1991; Iskandar & Colijn 2001; Das & Yaakob 2007), it was not regarded as a Bornean species by Stuebing, Inger & Lardner (2014). Following the latter authors, gervaisi is herein consequently considered endemic to the Philippines.
