Remarks:
Older records from Togo (e.g. Branch 1988, Wermuth 1968) refer to localities in the former Togoan part of Ghana, however, the species has subsequently been found in Togo (Segniagbeto, Trape, Afiademanyo, Rödel, Ohler, Dubois, David, Meirte, Glitho, Petrozzi & Luiselli 2015). Claimed to occur in Senegal by Bates, Tolley, Edwards, Davids, Silva & Branch (2013), who refer to Loveridge (1942) and Broadley (1987), however, neither of these references include Senegal in the distribution.
