1830 Tropidolaemus Wagler (type species: Cophias wagleri Boie 1827)
Contents: 5 species, of which 3 (60.0%) are endemic.
Endemism: 0% 100%
Remarks: Previously included in Trimeresurus. Presence of the genus in Maharashtra, India, is based on a specimen of uncertain status (Boundy 2008).
Distribution: S. Asia, Malay Archipelago.
Reported from: Brunei, India (Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu), Indonesia (Bangka, Belitung, Buton, Kalimantan, Natuna Islands, Nias, Riau Islands, Sangir Islands, Selayar, Siberut, Sulawesi, Sumatra), Malaysia (Sabah, Sarawak, West Malaysia [incl.
