Contents: 10 species, of which 2 (20.0%) are endemic.
Endemism: 0% 100%
Remarks: Previously believed to contain a single species, sundevalli, with several subspecies, which are now regarded as separate species. The standard name Burrowing Cobra (used for at least sundevallii) should be avoided to prevent confusion with Naja multifasciata.
Distribution: SubSaharan Africa.
