Dactyloperus nana Wells & Wellington 1984

Remarks: Doughty, Bourke, Tedeschi, Pratt, Oliver, Palmer & Craig (2018) did not mention the occurrence of this species in Queensland, neither did they include the state in their distribution map. It is unclear to me whether Queensland records (e.g., Cogger 2014; Vanderduys, Hines, Gynther, Kutt & Absolon 2011; Wilson & Swan 2010; Wilson 2005) are still valid or have been reassigned to other species.
Distribution: Australia (Northern Territory, Queensland, Western Australia).

Gehyra oceanica

Oceanic Gecko

Pazifischer Vierkrallengecko

Pacifisk Stumpfingergekko

1830 Gecko oceanicus Lesson
Gehyra oceanica Gray 1845
Hemidactylus oceanicus Schmeltz 1874
Peropus oceanicus Barbour 1912
1820 Stellio argyropus Tilesius von Tilenau (Bauer 1994)

1836 Hemidactylus oualensis Duméril & Bibron (Bauer 1994)
1842 Gehyra gularis Gray (Bauer 1994)

Remarks: Presumed extirpated in Guam (Bauer 1994). Presence in mainland New Guinea needs confirmation, according to Beckon (1992), who believed the species to be rare or absent there. Nevertheless, it has been listed from the island by many subsequent publications (e.g., Bauer 1994; Rösler, Glaw & Günther 2005; Kraus & Allison 2006). Records from the Loyalty Islands (New Caledonia) (Burt & Burt 1932) refer to vorax (Bauer & Sadlier 2000). Records from the Isle of Pines, off the New Caledonian mainland, are based on wrong locality data (Bauer & Sadlier 2000). Records from Lord Howe & Norfolk Islands (Australia) are erroneous (Cogger 1996). Records from the Australian mainland (incl. Torres Strait Islands) are doubtful (Bauer 1994; Cogger 1996). Not listed for Chile (Easter Island) by Gamboa (2020).
Extinct in: Guam.
Introduced to: New Zealand, USA (Hawaii).
Distribution: American Samoa, Cook Islands (incl. Rarotonga), Easter Island, Fiji (incl. Rotuma), French Polynesia, Indonesia (Halmahera, Kai Islands, Morotai, Supiori, Ternate, Western New Guinea), Kiribati, Marshall Islands (incl. Arno Atoll), Micronesia (incl. Pohnpei [incl.
